SWIS Hub

Overview
SWIS Hub needed a brand identity from the ground up. As the digital innovation and mentorship programme of SWIS Africa, a nonprofit shaping women in STEM across Nigeria, it required an identity that felt distinct from the parent brand while clearly connected to it. The challenge was building something bold and credible enough to earn the trust of young Nigerian women who have seen too many programmes overpromise and underdeliver.

Approach
The work began with a discovery phase: a structured brand questionnaire, stakeholder consultations, and a deep audience study. From that foundation, I developed a full brand strategy and tone of voice document that became the reference point for every subsequent design decision.
The visual identity centres on a custom mark built from five orbital forms, representing the SWIS Hub community in motion. Individual women, moving together, each on their own trajectory but part of the same system. The palette pairs SWIS Africa’s signature pink with a deep navy, warm cream, and pale yellow accent, giving the brand range without losing coherence.
From the logo I built out the full system: brand guidelines, a UI and web style guide for the development team, social media templates, letterhead, business card, email signature, and a creative direction document for the in-house designer to work from independently.

A complete brand system delivered across a focused engagement. Every touchpoint, from the digital platform to pop-up lab materials to social media, now operates from a single, consistent visual and verbal identity. The creative direction document means the in-house team can produce new assets without breaking the system. The brand is live and being used across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Ibadan.
